So, this happened…

First I got a packet from adlibris.com (an norwegian online bookstore), I placed the order 26th August, so I don´t think their delivery time is amazing. But they have the some of the lowest prices, which I guess makes the wait OK. The books I ordered this time were:

imageI Am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes, Nådens Omkrets by Jørgen Brekke, The Giver by Louis Lowry, The DUFF by Kody Keplinger, The Hallowed Ones by Laura Bickle, Four – A Divergent Story Collection by Veronica Roth, The Rule of Thoughts by James Dashner

Then I went to my local bookstore; ARK (visit their website here). They always have a 3 for 2 sale on their English titles, making it impossible to pick up less than three books. This time I ended up with four books, but rest assure I would have gotten six if the selection had not been unusually crappy this time. The books I got were:

image-1Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn, Dark Places by Gillian Flynn, City of Bones by Cassandra Clare, City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare

All the books were bought by me with my own money,

and sorry for the bad iPhone picture-quality, will try to remember to charge my camera ;)

What were the last books you bought?

The TBR. September 2014

New month, a new pile of books to read. Seeing as fall is fast approaching, or here in Norway, already here. I can’t wait to cozy up under my furry blanket with a stack of (hopefully) good books. This month I want to ease myself back into reading, seeing as I have been slacking for a while.

My September TBR are as follow;

The Golden Compass (His Dark Materials, Book 1) by Philip Pullman

The Eye of Minds by James Dashner

Orange Is the New Black by Piper Kerman

Gone Girl  by Gillian Flynn

The Golden Compass is actually a re-read, but this time I’m reading it in English. I read the series several years ago translated in Norwegian, but I can’t wait to read the books again. The best part, knowing the series is awesome, but not remembering a lot of the plot.

The Eye of Minds have been living in my bookshelf for quite some time, but with the sequel published last month I thougt it time to finally read it. (The sequel, The Rule of Thoughts,  I have allready ordered).

Orange Is the New Black is a “needtoread” for me because i love the Netflix series so so much, and I can’t wait for the 3rd season. Can it just be spring 2015 already?

Gone Girl is a much hyped book amongst book-tubers  as well as friends, and I do love a good mystery novel. This is probably the book I’m looking most forward to this month.

What´s on your September TBR-list?
